Writer's Workshop:

This week in writer's workshop the students read their letters to the upcoming 6th graders aloud to the class.  They also shared their favorite parts about Camp Wapsie.  We finished the week with an escape room activity.
Next week we will wind things down.  Monday we have an author (Mrs. Nekvinda) coming to talk to all of the 6th grade classes.  Tuesday is move up day so the 6th graders will watch a movie in the music room.  Wednesday we will free write and Thursday we will create books about our 6th grade year.
This will be my last post for the year.  I have really enjoyed teaching your child and watching them grow as a writer.  I hope you have a great summer.
